What do you give someone for their 90th birthday? Angelina despaired. She had searched high and low to no avail and the party was tomorrow afternoon. As she wandered through Melbourne, she came across a tiny curio shop in the Block Arcade. There in the window was the perfect gift. It was a vintage designer necklace with a rose print fabric on the pendant and a second hoop with a bird overlaid. This was perfect as her nanna’s was an avid bird watcher in her youth and in her later years had become a keen rose gardener. When her nanna opened it later her eyes lit up and Angelina was glad to be able to bring her much joy in her later years.
